on the next tour with tull ? i will be going to the manchester show in march and dont really expect much over the usual routine !! but at least it seems martin will be there or will he ? and maybe ian will give us a taster of some new material !! or not . looks like its gonna be another long year of touring !! what would you like to see on this never ending tour ?

Here's what I expect, Jim. Although Anderson is promoting the tour as consisting of rarely if ever performed material plus the "tried (tired?) and trusty favorites" chances are his idea of rarely if ever played songs will differ greatly from my own, and at most we will get two songs that have not been played ever before or not in a very long time, for instance To Cry You a Song. The rest will be the standard inclusions plus stuff we have all heard many times over the past ten or so years. It certainly does not sound like there will be any brand new material, which would actually be okay were Anderson to reach deep down into the Tull catalogue and do at least seven or eight never-before performed songs so that the show will live up to its advance billing. Somehow I doubt that will be case.
