Sorry for your loss. So sad and so young too.
I went to a wake recently, I mentioned on here just yeseterday the loss of a friend who did like Tull but played the flute and mostly of the Irish genre and that's what was played at his funeral. It's what he definitely would've wanted.

many thanks mothfairy, he was young and not into the older music so it will be interesting to see what his family come up with . music is a personal thing and you never know whats gonna happen so your views need to be related to what you want at such times , thats just my view never really thought about it till this happened.

Sorry to hear that, Jim. Terrible tragedy for someone so young. Something similar just happened with a friend of TM who was killed in an auto crash. Sad too for the kids they leave behind, because a kid never really recovers from the loss of a parent.

Very true. I am 29, and like (some) old(er) music, like Tull, and haven't thought of that sort of thing. couldn't imagine leaving my kids behind until they are well into adulthood and don't need me as much.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Life is such a fragile and delicate thread. My thoughts are with you. Music is very a personal thing and generational.
That being said there are 2 songs that will be played at any service for me they would be Elegy(mom liked it the song) and Reasons For Waiting (because its my favorite) and probably few more thrown in. Again Tullite sorry for to hear about your loss.
