Hey, all! Missed you guys. Been away along time. Whassup, Jeff? (my bro in truth & honesty. haha) Anyhoo......been listening exclusive ly lately, to the WarChild cd w/ the add'l. songs. I always truly loved these songs & it's the same now..... "Paradise Steakhouse", "Rainbow Blues" and "Glory Row". I love that whole period of 1973-74 when Ian played sax. Wish there were more. Eveytime I listen to Tull, every CD, even up to, and including "Dot Com" has great stuff on it. So, it makes me so sad (and, quite frankly, angry!!) at the way Ian has basically become ....(maybe too harsh a word...a "joke"). Not gonna elaborate here. Maybe he'll fake me out and do another good show @ Jones like he did 2 summers ago. But if u cant be like his opener, Gary Booker and his boys (still viable & who can stiill SING, rather than croak) then give it up.

Hey, welcome back Tommie, but why the new name when you were already here? No matter, good to have you back, and you're right about those War Child bonus tracks; Paradise Steakhouse is my wife's favorite Tull song! I love that one, as well as Rainbow Blues and Glory Row, which I once completely figured out on guitar, but have since forgotten. As you know, we enjoy complete freedom over here, all views are welcome and considered, and you'll never feel the need to apologize for criticizing Ian or Tull. All you have to do is read through our Trashing Jethro Tull thread to know that! We are not Ian-worshippers here. You see, we understand here that Tull is like....a spouse who you love and have always loved, but who pisses you off and infuriates you sometimes, and sometimes you're brutally honest and say some mean things about them, but that doesn't mean you love them any less. So I take it from your post that you're going to Jones Beach. Cool, let's meet up then. Jeff P.S. WTF, you're a female now? Did you go all Dee Palmer on us? Change that, bro! (just click on tommiebaby and modify your profile, no big deal.)
