dare i ask what a tull douche chill is? i presume this is some sort of judgement of the sheer embarrassment of such a proposition, if i am wrong my apologies, but i suspect i am not. you want embarrassing that would be called the who. although i have posted this elsewhere by way of emphasis i will post again, here is what should have been the halftime at the super bowl.
and here is tull and or ian embarrassing themselves to their loyal fan base and taking the easy way out
beats the snot out of the 1970 version
damn right its bouree, lang may ye reek, again, beats the snot out of the seventies versions, folks who don't want to see it please do beat a hasty retreat and dive into your prog pile of a happier time

Well never having the pleasure of a douche chill I do get the point of both posters. The reality of what might result if Tull were to perform on such a stage is pretty damn scary. And although the music has endured the test of time, unfortunately the vocals haven't.

Imagined.....Tull gets elected to the Rock and Roll HOF and proceeds to accept the honor with the current line-up.
Real.....at my last Tull show (2005?)...the tour when they played Kasmir. During that song the entire orchestra stood up in excitment.....Ian motioned them all to sit down...WTF....

Well never having the pleasure of a douche chill I do get the point of both posters. You've not missed a blessed thing. There's no pleasure involved. Much like sitting and listening to IA straining to hit notes he hasn't been able to reach in fifteen years. Sad, that.
