I cannot remember of any Jasper has been posted apologies if Janu has already highlighted this early brit proto prog band Not even me I recall whether I had already posted Jasper, anyway don't mind Preston, nothing for apologizing, well done for sharing this great Jasper song and so the previous you did, specially the Japan outfit, really awesome. Well, I break my silence on this board after recomposing my mind once these bad first weeks of a new year for me have passed. Syrius, a really good hungarian prog rock band . Salutem

I'm certain that Gnidrolog group was previously posted here, don't recall whether by PP or me, anyhow it worths revisiting them. Excellent progressive sound. I add some interesting comments from the web:
GNIDROLOG are one of the more overlooked bands that took part in the progressive rock explosion in Britain around 1971-73. Intricate band, with an ecletic music that is very hard to categorize. Their music is a blend of blusy prog, with horn instruments, and intense vocals on top of it. They might appeal to GENTLE GIANT, JETHRO TULL and VDGG fans. Still, pick up "In Spite of Harry's Toenail" or better yet, their opus "Lady Lake", and prepare to be bowled over. After a long (27 years!), GNIDROLOG re-banded and made a new studio album, "Gnosis", in 2000.

Their flute player Nigel Pegrum later played flute (and drums) for Steeleye Span on several albums, including Now We Are Six, produced by Ian. They do sound like a cross between Gentle Giant and Jethro Tull, probably closer to GG though. Jeff P.S. Serge, are you cheating on us with another? We are a very Jealous Jethro Tull Board, you know.

Thanks for let us know. This board is every day gettin' and gettin' more awesome by the high Tull, and music in general, degree has everyone around, and I'm glad for. I acknowledge being a bit, nonetheless, my dear Jeff, Life is a Long Song, and body is weak, ;D , albeit you can be sure TJTB about still being my Second House on the Net. Someday I'll tell my First ;D Well, gettin' into our subject again, I have to say that at these very early hours of the day and under a terrific cold on the air I've felt like revisiting this special and historic thread and I have been captured again by, I Believe, the best song I've posted so far here ;D . No doubt you'll agree with me, Tullian high degree "Boarders" (I recommend listening to this song being entirely relaxed. Here it is : One, UK, 1969 - Song : Cautiously Then, what is or are your favourite song posted so far here? Try, Listen and Tell us, you won't ever get bored about. Happy weekend all.

Welcome to the Tull board prof, I also liked a lot your Back To The Family rendition, outstanding and long solo guitar and drums playings. Feel free posting whatever Tull music stuff you wish. Thanks Preston, let's go on. Tasavallan Presidenti was a progressive rock, jazz-rock outfit from Finland with cool flute playings. Solitary Thinker ;D

Preston, The Seven SEas has been an impressive find for me, I agree with you Cold Flame being a powerful song. Surprisingly MCcully Workshop, a band from South Africa, is a garage outfit which includes on his music a bit of good flute playings too, check it out on this song at 1:57, if you don't still believe me ;D saludos again to all the thread

Bintangs was an outfit from Netherlands who showed to own quite potencial, quality and adding of flute playings on its instrumental line-up. Bintangs takes certain early Tullian influence, its sound acquire an atmosphere which brings us a bit the "This Was" sound era. (my own translation ) Check it out!! !I specially liked Kollektiv band. thanks Preston. Don't hesitate to post on the windy thread. ps. I wasn't able to post the tube as usual

eg Grovjobb has been removed so here is one of their tunes that has been reposted on another site
