Meic Stevens is a legend in his native Wales, even as he remains somewhat unknown outside of that country, due chiefly to his insistence on singing in his native Welsh language.
Psychedelic music with excellent flute parts

Again the charming Johnny Almond flute playing here alongside his british outfit, the Keef Hartley Band Interesting that you should post this, Serge, because did you know that Keef Hartley claims to have been the drummer for Tull for a few weeks, and apparently (at least according to a poster on the Steve Hoffman forum) had some unpleasant things to say about Ian in his autobiography? It seems to have been verified that Keef did fill in for Clive for a few gigs, but our member Ulla disputes even that much, and whether or not there is any validity to Keef's apparent complaints about how Ian treated him, is an open question. We did a thread on this, which you may find interesting: www.thejethrotullboard.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=band&action=display&thread=754Jeff

Interesting readings on that thread I hadn't examined yet. Thanks Jeff. Gwydion Pendderwen was an Usa hippie folk psych outfit featuring some good dulcimer and tin whistle playing. Check them out on this song starting at 1:29. Enjoy

I can't spend a day without listening this 8:28 minutes long beauty played by Dr. Strangely Strange. It's also remarkable the guitar work on the second part of this song as are the flute parts on the first one. Enjoy it peacefully with a tasty cold drink.
