Exclusives like that are one of the many reasons we are the best and most interesting Tull discussion site on wheels. Jeff P.S. Right, Bernie? ;D

Wow that is good news. Certainly hope its true as I already took this opportunity to jabber at Doane about it on his Facebook, if not i will look like a "right prat" not that that would be unfamiliar territory. They have enough material for a record I know I would like alot, but like anything since Roots would have limited appeal, Aqualung has left the house. I emphacized to Doane that if all 3 lady violinists were included, 1 violist, and of course 1 sitarist, and including material that is not their own like Kashmir, (which actually might have radio appeal) or Runty or bluegrass in the backwoods from that lovely girl from a few years ago who's name I have forgotten, she also had some nice additions to the King Henry piece, again I forget the name, I believe they will have a very good record that will likely get good reviews as most or all have since Roots, including the Ian stuff, the reviews are no longer the problem. Tull records in the seventies received almost routinely bad reviews, handful of exceptions, though no record from Tull in the seventies receiived no bad reviews. Ever seen the Rolling Stone review of Benefit in all its 2 star glory?

tullist...i heard the song ...so not fear not bug Doane about it, no violinst at all, john ohara also heavily featured. different then anything I have heard so far, more along the lines of solo IA Rupi and Tea with Princess kind of feel, but not really, I will have to hear a few more times before I can pass judgment on it. Not bad l just have to to listen to it for a few more spins.. It is definitely an original IA composition.

Hello, I've heard the song on the show in Aachen last weekend. Like Derek says, it's in the line of the Rupi's Dance material. In my opinion: more an IA solo-song than a real Tull-song... The show in Aachen had the same setlist as Gottingen and was nearly outstanding! Especially on the 'rockers' (like Crosseyed Mary and Nothing is Easy) the old crowd has gone wild. I'm looking forward to the upcoming shows in Holland and Luxemburg! Stijn, Greetz from Belgium

We have the latest information here, hot off the presses, thanks to members like you from across the globe! Enjoy the upcoming shows in Belgium and Holland! I definitely like the new setlist better than the one they were touring with in the UK. The over-played Fatman and Fatman-clone solo piece Water Carrier are both gone, replaced by Tull rockers like Beggar's Farm and Cross-eyed Mary. That's a trade I'd make any day. The new Tea with the Princess dropped in favor of the even newer, never-heard-before Hair in the Wine Cup, and TOTRNR (which he is no longer able to sing too well) left out in favor of Past Time in Good Company. Jack in the Green has been added as well, so the show is now longer by one or two songs. Much better repertoire in my opinion. Jeff

Huh... I'm starting to like the way these setlists are looking.
Maybe I'll rethink their visit to my hometown this summer. I'm very glad to hear new material is being introduced.

i have listened to a few more times....I have to say overall I think it is not one of IA better songs of recent Tea for the princess and a Change of Horses I thought were much better. I m not sure if a diffrent arrangment and some diffrent instruments would help this song. I also think the lyrics were thrown together and not your typical thought provoking IA lyrics. I would rate this song a C with room for improvement, I don't think it will raise much higher in rating....but that is only according to my ears..

Just hearing the title of the song makes me suspicious. I'll venture a guess and say the song has religious overtones. The fact that Ian is calling it a wine cup(as opposed to a wine glass), makes me thing this has something to do with a religious ceremony. During the ceremony a hair is discovered in the wine cup and the ceremony is deemed invalid. The result is that a war breaks out between countries that have different religious views.

Doesn't look like you'll be able to post that here. In addition to copyright infringement issues, it appears the file size is too large. I suppose you could edit it down to a snippet and post that if you really wanted to though.

[/quote I tried to just download the mp3 to Youtube but got an error message saying I needed to convert the mp3 . So if you didn't convert the mp3 then you probably won't be able to do it without converting it to a different format.

what about converting the mp3 to a diffrent audio format (flac, wav, wma.) then let utube convert it? i dont know jack, never uploading to utube, but if if wants to convert the audio stream, maybe it cannot convert a mp3 because it is already a mp3? i don't know, want the song in a diffrent format?

Its crap but try and make the video in windows movie maker. That's what I did. You can just import the audio. Then export it and upload to youtube.
