the mental image of Martin scaring wolves aways with a stick made me burst out laughing. (i tend to exaggerate and humor up my mental images)

i screa- i mean sing wery badly (I sound like a bad version of Udo Dirkschneider) and play guitar. But i have come to notice im never goin to get good at guitar either ...hahah. And ive actually been considering bout gettin a flute, tryin out somethin new. My friends laughed their asses off at this idea, but whatever (those bastards) And i did play drums in elementary school, but i never owned a set myself so it was only in school every chance i got (Damn teacher had to drive me away from the class to recess sometimes when i refused to stop playin)

I found some artwork that will blow our minds. Since some people think Tull fans are Hippies, let's see what effect this has. Uploaded with ImageShack.usAll Non-Tull fans will see nothing at all. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Curse you for showin that to me while im drunk! anyways... none of my "real life" friends listen Tull and basicly they just tend to go all "what the fuck you listen this kinda music *horrible laughter*" ...Since they expect me to just blast out thrash- and heavy metal all the time

i cant help but thinkin Tull pulling Floyds here. But im trying to look this positive way, Which makes this all sound guite interesting. Both playing Tull material makes me interested to hear how different they will make them sound. But I hope they will just get back touring togethere as Tull after this... And make that new album we are all eager off.

hm. seems like i didnt miss that much after all falling asleep waiting for the clock to hit the zero. I agree everyone saying no Martin no Tull, but i can still get excited about the tour... If they hit Finland.
and that clock still ticking is causing me confusion too. I sure hope it means theres still something awesome to come

I love Broadsword and the beast. Well it does also kinda have this "nostalgic" factor to me since it was my first Tull album. I still remember like yesterday going nuts right from the beginning of Beastie... and i know many dont like watching me watching you but i love that track. and the "bonus tracks". I have never encountered as amazing bonus tracks during my lil album buying history. and dont even get me started with the artwork. Here is a dramatization to demonstrate: well i do pay great attention to album artworks, being a lame wannabe artist myself. I may or may not actually write something wise about this album later. I should not be letted in the internet when drunk. Why there isnt anyone here to stop me, for the love of...

dont know have this been mentioned before, but i was watching friends the other day and i had totally forgot this scene where Phoebe gives his little black book of all the numbers of her ex boyfriends to Rachel who then reads it and remarks: "Phoebe, isnt Jethro Tull a band?"

as promised, my review of my first tull show in Keitelejazz in Finland... well i actually suck at "reviewing" anything so i prefer calling it a "Ramble from my point of view" =P I have my own style of writing these things anyways. But anywhoo, you can read the shit heeeere: chooksrockingblogging.blogspot.com/2011/07/bringing-their-game-jethro-tull.html wasnt sure on what section to put this, so please yell at me if this is wrong...

oh, thank you ...i seem to be saying that sentence a lot. but i cannae come up anythin better to say... or i could say "kiitos" which is "thank you" in finnish. =P hm... and i have more for you people... i drew the scetch of the following picture after the Jethro tull concert last week while sitting on a park bench ...waiting for my train. I actually drew quite many totally brainless Tull scteches (i was rather tired, on a drunk like state of mind, hyped over the show), but i quess this one was stupid enough to get drawn properly =P I see, his army seems to be lacking some motivation. aw maan, im totally weird... and im lovin it.

broadsword and the beast. I was totally unaware of which one i should get first in order to get to know to the band best (or something like that)... Basicly just freaked out on the artwork of broadsword so i purchased it first. second one was aqualung Julia, how did you like the show the other night? Didn't Tull just play there? Also, look in the announcements section....you've been voted as TJTB Member of the Month for June! Jeff Oh the show was amazing as expected. I will most likely write a long ass ramble/review about it to my blog in few days (like i always do when i have attendet a concert) and im sure to let you all know when the story has been written. and wooot? thats just crazy....

hm. ive been trying to convert my sister and dad into Tull. My sister has already admitted it being "pretty good actually" so i just have to keep working on that and im sure to be succesfull... But every time i hype about tull and play their albums to my dad i just get this "meh" >8| ...for christ sake he listens classic rock and i managed to get him to love Megadeth but no Tull. Don't give up, Julia, you've already made some headway with your sister, but maybe you would have even better success with Dad -- and Sis too -- by emphasizing the acoustic material. If you'd like I can give you a surefire tracklisting of 80 minutes of acoustic Tull (including not just the ballads, but some of the rockier acoustic Tull) that can't miss! Jeff hey, thats a great idea. and i shall accept yer offer of that tracklist

::)Finally. my newest piece... hm. im actually quite pleased with the result... O_0 Ive been doing a series styled like this featuring different songs of bands and i thought its about time for some Tull in that. it took me a while (a day) to choose what lyrics/song to feature here, since theres so many amazing ones. But anyways, as you can see i came to a conclusion. My god is without a doubt one of my favourite tull songs and i also love the lyrics meaningwise. people have manipulated religion and the concept of God to gain power. Organized religion is a bitch, telling everyone this and that is the only right way and if you disagree your wrong and goin to be all warm and cuddly in Hell for eternity... Who the fack are you to say yer God is the only right one and everything else is wrong? geez... one should respect others religions and acknowledge them... or at least thats how ive always seen the song =P now, i need a drink

thank yous im glad you liked them. The second one reminds me somewhat of the caricatures that Don Martin once did for a Mad Magazine poster in the late seventies, which I believe we have somewhere here in our Tull Art department, along with a lot of other stuff. yes i remember seeing that when lurking through the threads. I wery much like his style (especially those damn sound effects you cant find anywhere else).
