I saw Dios Disciples last summer. It was bloody amazing and emotional show. I remember seeing Graig Goldy turn his back to the audience, because he bursted into tears (almost did myself too). they played on this tiny second stage on a festival. but it was still deffinetly one of the highlights of the 3 day festival.

I'm just thankful that more of Jethro Tull's (or Ian's) brilliant music going to be available! The world, today, has become so bombarded with "New Wave" music that I cannot seem to enjoy. I am so glad that Jethro Tull has not given up on these new times... I am really looking forward to their new music because without it I would be stuck living in the past!! with all the shitty "modern" music around today we gotta enjoy every little jewel thrown at us. and i liked them samples anyways. they sounded a bit "rupis dance" -like (like many have mentioned already), but hey, i liked that album too =P and in any case i aint goin on rampage over the album sounding like Ians solo stuff more than jethro tull. time to sit back and wait for the release date

An uptade from Geezer www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/tony-iommi-has-written-two-new-songs-since-diagnosis/"Awesome news as Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler has confirmed that since his lymphoma diagnosis, legendary guitarist Tony Iommi has already written two new songs for the upcoming album! Fucking legend. Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler has posted a new blog confirming that the gutting news that Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with cancer has not derailed his spirit or his creative streak. “Today [January 19th] we got the engines back up and running at Tony’s home studio,” he writes. “Far from being down and depressed about his lymphoma diagnosis, Tony had already written the music for two new songs, and I must say it has given us all a kick up the rump — it’s great to hear him churning out those riffs again, assuaging the Demon C. Takes more than that to stop Tony. Can’t wait for you all to hear our workings; it has been great working on this stuff. He adds, “I want to thank the lovely encouraging emails sent to this site giving Tony love and encouragement and great vibes. It really does help, not only Tony, but us as a band — it raises up our spirits and restores our faith in this tarnished world. “SABB fans are good people. Time and again, you have proven your faith in us and boosted our endeavour. “Thanks, love, peace.” good to hear hes still on a positive mood, doin what he loves Keep on fighting Tony.

absolutely one of my favourite Tull albums. Its proggy, its folky, its rocky, it even has a nice bluesy touch. And its a good album to listen when your drunk off yer ass (yes, that is wery important guality to have in music) it has everything. My favourites are A new day yesterday, We used to know, Look into the sun and nothing is easy (Cornicks bass always catches my attention in that one. brilliant) oh and I also love the artwork of the album. Sad how so many bands these days dont put much of an efford to album artworks. I like to see artworks that go hand in hand with the music not just some random paintings or shots of the band.

Huzzah, the metal thread is aliiive. Judas priest. Still ultimate Metal gods. this i witnessed from front row last summer. one of my favourite songs to scream along: (not my video obviously) learnin to scream like Rob Halford is tough work and while were at the metal thread let us all hope the best for Tony Iommi www.classicrockmagazine.com/news/iommi-has-early-stages-of-cancer/"With the news that Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with the early stages of lymphoma, his bandmates would like everyone to send positive vibes to the guitarist at this time.Tony is currently working with his doctors to establish the best treatment plan – the “IRON MAN” of rock and roll remains upbeat and determined to make a full and successful recovery." daaamn, this how 2012 greets us? =(

my shots from above said show. Theyre rather shitty though. it was forbidden to take photos and there was nazis on watch all the time makin sure no-one would do so. Since im a damn rebel i took photos anyways but it is quite hard to shoot in that kinda conditions when yer in front row =P ...but hey, its good to have challenges every now and then. and as an bonus: Fairport convention

Memories like these are worth having Ted. Sometimes I wish I was younger until I realize how much I would have missed. Life is a long Tull song. while at times you may wish you were younger, im wishin i was older so i woulda had a change to experience shit like this 8P .....being young now may have its benefits but perhaps i was born on the wrong decade (huh, i dont even dare to think what this world will be like when i reach the "oldness")

Im goin to kill myself, didnt get tickets to the finland show -__-" (all thanks to slow computer actually) Did Iommi stumble upon a potion of permanent coolness or what? Yes, he is beginning to age a little (actually very little), but he is somehow cooler than ever. Sabbath always looked liked gods on stage. I loved every incarnation, even those with the less popular front men. I thought Tony Martin had a fiery voice that fit in really well, and naturally I miss Dio very much. There's nothing quite like the original though. I hope this reunion is as good as The Last Supper DVD is. That has to be the best Sabbath concert ever. But i agree with you about Tony Martin. That era sabbath is totally underrated.

Hi, Julia! You may not have Halloween to look forward to this month in Finland, but you do have a few Ian Anderson shows coming up there, in a few weeks I think. So, are you going? Jeff unfortunetly i am not goin. Too many bands i love are coming to finland on these last few months and i surely dont swim in money so i had to make some brutal decisions. including cutting Ian Anderson off my calendar (because i allready saw jethro tull in the summer) sooo i sure hope the thick as a brick tour stops here next year.
