Lou's special Sunday posts. Kill Your Sons - Lou Reed Hold On - Lou Reed There's blacks with knives and whites with clubs Fighting in Howard Beach There's no such thing as human rights When you walk the N.Y.streets A cop was shot in the head by a 10 years old kid Named Buddah in Central Park last week The fathers and daughters are lined up by the coffins By the Statue of Bigotry, hey You better hold on Something's happening here You better hold on Well, I meet you in Tompkins Square The dopers sent a message to the cops last weekend They shot him in the car where he sat And Eleanor Bumpers and Michael Stewart Must have appreciated that There's a rampaging rage rising up like a plague Of bloody vials washing up on the beach It'll take more than the Angels or Iron Mike Tyson To heal this bloody breach, hey, hey You better hold on something's happening here You better hold on I'm gonna meet you in Tompkins Square A junkie ran down a lady a pregnant dancer she'll never dance but the baby was saved He shot up some China White and nodded out at the wheel and he doesn't remember a thing They shot that old lady 'cause they thought she was a witness to a crime she didn't even see Whose home is the home of the brave by the Statue of Bigotry, hey You better hold on something's happening here You better hold on meet you in Tompkins Square You got a black .38 and a gravity knife you still have to ride the train There's the smelly essence of N.Y. down there but you ain't no Bernard Goetz, ah There's no Mafia lawyer to fight in your corner for that 15 minutes of fame The have and the have nots are bleeding in the tub that's New York's future not mine, oh You better hold on something's happening here You better hold on you better, something's happening here Hold on, ooohhh, babe Icy, great thought for first month of new year.
Changin' to temporarily closed threads and song lists making subject If admin or you want me to do them again they'll have to take all subject threads up as it was happening not too long ago along 2012. It's been my own "misdemeanor" of the day. ;D . What do you think about it btw?Pd. writting in bloody red words following the crime stuff of the month

Too Much Blood - The Rolling Stones
A friend of mine was this Japanese. He had a girlfriend in Paris. He tried to date her in six months and eventually she said yes. You know he took her to his apartment, cut off her head. Put the rest of her body in the refrigerator, ate her piece by piece. Put her in the refrigerator, put her in the freezer. And when he ate her and took her bones to the Bois de Boulogne, by chance a taxi driver noticed him burying the bones. You don't believe me? Truth is stranger than fiction.

Man With Money - The Who
Just down the street I know a place When they're asleep I'll cover my face I'll break the lock, open the door I'll slip inside, I'll rob the store
Then I'll be a man with lots of money Not a poor boy I'll buy her things, she'll call me honey Not a poor boy A man with money, man with money, man with money, man with money

No sympathy for "Thieves" Thieves, thieves and liars, murderers Hypocrites and bastards in laughter Hey, thanks for nothing Morals in the dust Two faced bastards and syncophants No trust
Thieves, liar, thieves, liar Thieves, liar, thieves, liar Inside, outside, which side, you don't know My side, your side, their side, we don't know
Which side are they, which side are they? Which side of their mouth do you suppose that it came? Which side are they, which side are they? Which side of the grass is greener?
Inside, outside, which side, we don't know My side, your side, their side, no one knows
You're like a great big fucking sponge Just waiting to get squeezed
Breathe, forfeit erection Toxical injection Geriatric fuck-fest We still believe in lies
Thieves, liar, thieves, liar Thieves, liar, thieves, liar Inside, outside, which side, you don't know My side, your side, their side, we don't know

Take The Money and Run.
Good advice from the late and very much missed Gerry Rafferty.

Atrocity Exhibition - Joy Division
In arenas he kills for a prize, Wins a minute to add to his life. But the sickness is drowned by cries for more, Pray to God, make it quick, watch him fall.
This is the way, step inside. This is the way, step inside...
This is the way, step inside. This is the way, step inside...
You'll see the horrors of a faraway place, Meet the architects of law face to face. See mass murder on a scale you've never seen, And all the ones who try hard to succeed.

This song relates indirectly to "Criminals" like myself. "I said now, watch what you say, now we're calling you a radical, a liberal, fanatical, criminal Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're acceptable, respectable, presentable, a vegetable"

I saw Joni Mitchell I believe in 1974. Her show was very cool back then. Joni Mitchell - "Raised On Robbery" Court and Spark, released in January 1974, would see Mitchell begin the flirtation with jazz and jazz fusion that marked her experimental period ahead, but it was also her most commercially successful recording, and among her most critically acclaimed. Court and Spark went to #1 on the Cashbox Album Charts.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joni_Mitchell

Modern Love - Peter Gabriel
I trusted my Venus was untouched in her shell But the pearls in her oyster were tacky as hell For Lady Godiva I came incognito But her driver had stolen her red hot magneto Ooh the pain - Modern love can be a strain

Holy Gabriel ! Never saw that before Sergi. It was very basic for something Peter Gabriel would have done even in 1977. I have a picture which must be linked to that outfit. I stole a few Red Hot Magnetos back in the day. ;D Before I got married.

Mike Oldfield - Moonlight Shadow
... he was caught in the middle of a desperate fight and she couldn't find how to push through. The trees that whisper in the evening, carried away by a moonlight shadow. sing a song of sorrow and grieving, carried away by a moonlight shadow. all she saw was a silhouette of a gun, far away on the other side. he was shot six times by a man on the run and she couldn't find how to push through. I stay, i pray ...
