I am new to this site and do not know where or how to post something correctly. Sorry if I am in the wrong place and off topic. My subject is about an original 70 page WAR CHILD script that I am selling at BONHAMS AUCTION HOUSE in London Knightsbridge on the 18Th of December 2013 in their Rock and Pop memorabilia auction. I/A wrote and gave me this script personally in late 1974 and a little of it has been discussed on this site before in 2011. Would be grateful for any help to reach those who might be interested. I am also selling some early John Evans Blues Band photos and posters.

You can start a new thread relating to this by going to the home page "general crossing" section and "new thread" or this link may just do the trick thejethrotullboard.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=postLooking forward to hearing more.

War Child, in its current incarnation, consist of two original members, drummer Jeremy Cohen (who left for five or six years, then returned) and bassist Bobb Freund. (I am not sure whether guitarist Eric Milcetic was present from the earliest days, when they were performing as Passion Play, but I don't think so.) During the past year and a half, the band has been undergoing a renaissance, with new singer/flutist Flip Britton taking over the role as Ian, after a two year hiatus following the departure, and subsequent untimely death, of frontman Paul Caruso. These videos posted by Jeremy on his youtube channel show that Flip, who also plays in a Genesis tribute band, has proved to be a very capable replacement for Paul, especially in the vocal and stage presence departments, and is steadily improving on flute, as well. Here is their performance of Something's On the Move, a new song in their repertoire which was omitted from the War Child show I saw with TM a while back: From an August 2, 2013 show in Patchogue, Long Island show: Farm on the Freeway: The Third Hurrah, from the new band's 2012 debut concert at The Cutting Room: And this remarkable, spot-on rendition of By Kind Permission Of, with Mike Grin at keyboards, almost certainly the only time any Tull tribute band has ever attempted this difficult, classical--inspired piano piece. The War Child boys (and girl--Renee Spitz chimes in with vocals and glockenspiel, and there is an all-female string quartet at selected shows) have some new dates lined up for the spring, I believe, and a new website, which can be found here: www.warchildtulltribute.com/Jeff
