It is strange that he isn't playing a show in Vancouver.. But I'm too thrilled about seeing him I don't even care. Tickets for my seat were only 100$! Im so excited. I need to listen to more of the new album though. The show isn't until October 25th, so I have some time. And I'll bet this show will be amazing!

I'm really little too, 19. I've been a huge Tull fan for 3 years now, and must give the credit to my parents for my taste in music. Music just seems to be worth more when it's created out of man-made musical talent and not computers.

Soooo just the other day, I was poking around J-Tull.com when I noticed Ian was playing a show in Alberta, Canada!! I live in BC, but that's close enough, baby! I cried for a good half hour, with excitement, then bought 2 tickets. I can't express the pure joy I feel when thinking of how I will be sitting 3 rows away from such a glorious human. I'm truly lucky, and won't hesitate to throw him a rose, during the show - with love.
My life is so much better, now. #happiness (lol)

I find that, with this album, I can never just play one song from it... I either listen to the entire thing; front to back, or nothing at all. (Unless it's Dark Ages... I'll play that on repeat.)

Hey! I have never been to a Tull show.. and when they did decide to come to Vancouver, I was a wee child and had no idea they existed! There is no show in Vancouver for this tour, so far as I know... I feel your pain and frustration.

love all the great photos!! But I just had to say this SOMEWHERE - I can't get enough of Stormwatch! I listen to it over and over... day after day. I love it. SO MUCH It is a great album--one of my favorites--perhaps it is time to revive a Stormwatch thread? By the way, I'm probably shooting in the dark here but does anyone know of any officially released mandolin tablature? I guess unofficial is just as good. Thread is in effect

This thread is created in honor of one the greatest albums I have ever heard. Share your thoughts and other J-Tull albums you believe worthy of constant listening.

I agree, this is a wonderful board. Mouse Police, I'm in Canada too! Wonderful! Let's be friends. I can also listen to J-Tull all day long, without any objection... but not when others are around... others get annoyed and impatient with it. This, I do not understand!

Wee that's bloody fantastic, if it is completely analog!!!! Ian Anderson DOES know how to make and record the greatest music. Feel free to buy me a copy if it is actually that inexpensive hahaha

I would only buy this on vinyl if it was recorded through analog machines.. which I'm very sure it wasn't. It defeats the purpose... other than the fact that it is cool to look at. It should sound the same as the CD version. But to buy some on J-Tull's earlier, for-sure analog, music would be completely worth the investment. I just bought, this morning, A and Bursting Out on vinyl. Pretty excited to hear it!

I'm in Vancouver, British Columbia! The flute-playing is coming along slowly, but I am getting better. I would love to play it everyday all day, but there just isn't enough time!
Jeff, be sure to show your kid lots of early Tull videos, those scared the hell out of me.. His big eyes were so open and trusting... hahaha. It's enough to seduce even the stubbornest of lads.

Still no word on a Canada show, eh? I guess I'll just have to form a tribute band... It shall be named "The Jethro Tull Board Band of Bored Individuals in a Group" ...I need a job.

I can't express how much joy I get from this group of wonderful people. It is annoying for me to not be able to share my deep love for this band with as many people as I would like, in the fleshy world... Everyone I introduce to J-Tull seems to acknowledge their talents but never seems to become as fascinated with them as myself. I had been feeling lost for so long and was finally welcomed to a place where people are just as insane for the Tull as I am... and even more - which I respect, greatly. Just thought you all should know that I love you.... and I don't care who knows it! If you love the Tull, than I love you! And y'all should feel pretty darn special, in that case
