It would ideal for all of us "Tull Boarders" to set up a convention and meet! If only money was free...
Ian Anderson should invest his TAAB2 earnings in this event.

You might be right. I, however, have never been to a convention of any kind, and thought since Jethro Tull is the only "obsession" of mine, at the time, that I should go ahead and make it happen. My goal is to only meet people with the same interests and to learn and see a whole bunch of Jethro Tull shiza. I don't see an isuue with living with the past, as long as one's intentions are for the greater awareness of the Tull Brilliance!
I'm lovin' the feedback.

Okay. Here's the deal.... I'm a relatively new Jethro Tull fanatic. I live in Vancouver, B.C. (Canada). To my knowledge there has never been a Tull Convention here. I feel compelled to get one started. I have no idea how to do something like this.... So, ideas would be great and very much appreciated!!!!!

Songs From The Wo-hood, makes me feel much, much better... but then again I think of one song, and then another comes to mind..then another.. and another. At this exact moment, Jethro Tull's best song is

My mother first showed me a performance of Aqualung when I was about 16... I was, of course, hypnotized by Mr. Anderson's big eyes. I respected the music but did not become thoroughly active in listening to Jethro Tull until a couple of years later. I was browsing through a music collection and came across Cold Wind To Valhalla. I was blown away... I went out on a journey to collect as many Jethro Tull records as I could afford. I have loved every album since.

I'm just thankful that more of Jethro Tull's (or Ian's) brilliant music going to be available! The world, today, has become so bombarded with "New Wave" music that I cannot seem to enjoy. I am so glad that Jethro Tull has not given up on these new times... I am really looking forward to their new music because without it I would be stuck living in the past!!

Man, I would give anything for Ian Anderson to put on another show in Vancouver. He did one early last year, when I was JUST becoming a fan... I now know what I've missed... and also now have the money!
